Frank Giunta has been in the heating and air-conditioning business since 1952. He started his own business in 1953, specializing in heating, air-conditioning, furnace cleaning, W.A. systems chimneys, and commercial air duct systems cleaning.
 
Even with much opposition from other HVAC contractors, Frank continued to pursue the need for air duct cleaning (remediation) into a specialized field with many different facets.
 
With the energy problems of the '70s and the tragedies of Legionnaires' disease, a different approach was taken to air duct cleaning and a new remediation methodology began.

He began a professional air duct cleaning service in addition to inventing and manufacturing some of the state-of-the-art power-vacuum equipment.
 
Early in 1992, A Air Technical Service Corp. was responsible for discovering airborne lead in the duct systems in several large buildings in a large northeastern city. A Air Technical Service Corp. is now in the process of airborne lead abatement and air duct cleaning. A job of this magnitude was the first of its kind in the east, if not the county. The job was in accordance with insurance companies, OSHA, EPA, and other governing authorities.
 
Over the years, Mr. Giunta has been involved in marketing, sales, business administration (all facets), hands-on installation and service, and application engineering.
